Deep red cherry colour.  The nose is reminiscent of red berries, blackcurrants and cranberries.  A very Atlantic personality.  There are hints of salty liquorice, ginger, sap, a spicy background, along with minerals and roasting.  The aftertaste is long lasting, with hints of roast hazelnut that blend with hints of minerals and exotic wood at the back of the mouth. £39.00

Bodegas Orben Rioja 2013
Although Bodegas Orben shuns the classification system, this wine is, in every way a ‘Gran Reserva’ of the highest order.  Intense garnet red in colour, this wine has complex perfumes of wild dark fruits, with hints of balsamic, light toast and toffee on the nose.
